Meetings:
Our monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month, usually at the Llay Miners Welfare, Llay near Wrexham, at 8.00pm. Our next meeting is on the 14th November.

For further information about the North Wales & West Cheshire CHICS group you can contact Cheryl or Erica.

Also we have been approached by a scouting group to use an outdoor adventure Wood. Things to do would be wall climbing, shooting, archery and much more (this is fully supervised by their staff) and will end with a possible bbq. Can we have your feed back please, as if no one is interested we will not book.

We are also looking at doing a weekend at Glan-Llyn which is an outward bound centre. Please look on their web site. There are lots of activities such as swimming, bowling, canoeing, raft building etc., You can do as much or as little as you like. If there is is enough interest we will book it. Please e-mail Fiona. There will also be a small cost for the weekend.

High School Group:
A message for new and existing members of the high school group, we as a committee think it would be a good idea for you to have a meeting of your own and discuss what you as a group would like to do. For example meetings, outings and fund raising ideas. If you are interested please contact Erica.

If you are interested in joining us in going bowling and for pizza, please telephone or e-mail Erica to show your interest.

Bereavement meetings:
Our next meeting is on the 7th November, also at the Llay Miners Welfare, Llay near Wrexham, at 8.00pm. If you require any information please telephone or e-mail Erica.

A note from Erica: If you require anything please telephone me as I am not at clinic or doing home visits at the moment, as I am on compassionate leave: 01978-853495.

Coffee Morning / Afternoon:
We have been approached to see if we would hold some coffee mornings at Llay Miners Welfare, Wrexham, for children that are either pre-school or unable to attend school. We will try and arrange this in the new year. Please contact one of the committee if you are interested.

Would you be interested in having a coffee morning or afternoon in the Wrexham/Chester/Mold area? If you have your child or siblings at home, we would find somewhere that they would be entertained (e.g.; Jolly Jungle in Mold). Also would you be interested in having an evening meeting in the Colwyn Bay, Bangor areas? If you are interested please contact Erica and we will try our best to arrange this.

If you would like a home visit from Erica or a chat with her on the phone please do not hesitate to contact her. Also, Erica is at clinic once or twice a week. You can leave a message for her if she is not there.

Fundraising:
Have you, or your friends and family, got in your cupboards any unwanted gifts (e.g.: ladies, men's or children's gifts) that could be used in raffles or on a tombola (e.g.: Wine, spirits, toys and toiletries, etc.) to help us raise money and continue supporting our members. If you have please contact a member of the committee or if you would like to leave in clinic and Erica will collect them.

Could you hold a coffee morning, raffle or anything to help us raise money to help continue with the service we provide.

Do you work for a company who gives charitable donations? Could you place a collection box in your local newsagents or pub? If anyone can help in any way (e.g. sponsored events, coffee morning, school non-uniform day, etc.) please contact any of your committee.

Our sincere thanks go to those of you who have already responded. Your support is very much appreciated.

Have you got any fund raising ideas? If so please telephone a member of our committee.

We still have Christmas cards and pin badges available. Would you be able to sell any of these items to your family and friends.

Volunteers:
Could you or family and friends help us with fundraising. Example being:- putting us forward to your charity committee at your place of work, or organising a bag pack at your local supermarket. Are you interested in going on our volunteer list for our charity events.
